‘Cats’ staged at North Central College this weekend
“Cats” is the second-longest-running musical in Broadway history, and Naperville-area audiences can enjoy this popular Andrew Llloyd Webber play this weekend at North Central College.
Based on the poems of T.S. Elliot’s “Old Possums Book of Practical Cats,” “Cats” is a story of the tribe of Jellicle cats who gather in a junkyard the night of the Jellicle Ball to celebrate who they are.
“Cats” will be staged in Pfeiffer Hall, 310 E. Benton Ave., at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5; 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 6; 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7; and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 8. Tickets are only $15/adults and $10/students and senior citizens.
A special performance for school groups will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6. Tickets are $5; chaperones and teachers are free. “Cats” is perfect entertainment for the entire family.
