The archives and manuscripts collection will be closed to research from summer 2009 through summer 2010 for a major renovation project in the storage areas. The museum and research room and other collections (like photographs and textiles) are still open however.

This is a great, colorful exhibit.

Did you know that Oesterle Library has some great books about other female artists and about how women have been depicted in art throughout history? Women, Art, and Society by Whitney Chadwick (https://i-share.carli.illinois.edu/ncc/cgi-bin/Pwebrecon.cgi?DB=local&v1=1&BBRecID=81292) was one of my textbooks when I was in college.

Campus Coffee was great fun! I really enjoyed hearing all of the readers!

There are plenty of leftovers in the lounge if anybody wants to drop by for a snack between classes!

Thanks for the update, Chelsea! This will be a great addition to Oesterle Library's database offerings!

NCC community members can access Biological Abstracts from on and off campus at the following URL: https://login.libproxy.noctrl.edu/login?url=http://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?authtype=ip,uid&profile=ehost&defaultdb=bxh
