Oesterle Library now has access to the online version of Shakespeare Survey, a yearbook of Shakespeare studies and production. All of the essays from the 62 volumes of Shakespeare criticism since 1948 are included, as well as 90% of the original images. Users can search using keywords, browse the chapters from all volumes, or select from a drop-down menu of themes, such as “Style: Imagery” or “Adaptations/Offshoots.” Some examples of chapter titles from the series are “Revenge, Retribution, and Reconciliation” and “Race Mattered: Othello in Late Eighteenth-Century England.” Shakespeare Survey Online is available via the Library’s web site on the drop-down list of databases found under the “Articles” tab.
The staff at Oesterle Library would like to congratulate all of the Honors Day participants. The library staff were able to attend many Rall Symposium presentations and thoroughly enjoyed each and every one!
A special congratualtions goes out to our library student assistants who participated in the Rall Symposium or received awards at the Honors Day Convocation: Josh Bailey, Rachel Garthe, Brittany Goudie, Celeste Pille and Kirsten Shoup.
