Back At It Again
Monday, January 19th, 2009So I returned from Taiwan and let me just say that I miss Taiwan a ton, but I am glad to back in the USA. Since returning I’ve caught up with my family and friends and told them of the many adventures in which I embarked on in Taiwan. Also first thing when I got back I went to get a nice and juicy hamburger at the local restaurant to get that American food taste back in my system. I only had Friday and Saturday to reminisce then I was back to North Central.
Back at North Central I started student teaching, which I love to death. I don’t mind waking up at the crack of dawn to go and do something that I love. I can totally see myself doing this in years to come. I unfortunately get tired around 10:00, which I didn’t think would happen but their always give and takes in anything. I also assistant basketball coach the 7th grade boys and have had a blast with that. We had off last Thursday and Friday because of the cold which stunk but also had a benefits.
Coming soon to North Central is SAAC’s Dating Game in which I will hosting at halftime at the boys and girls basketball games. The show consist of the same layout as the show in the 70’s with 3 girls and one suitor. There are a combined 5 guys participating in this event and it going to be a blast, I can’t wait.
The cold is bad but its Chicago I have gotten use to it. Taiwan was 75 and sunny everyday, but change is always good. I have started to apply for jobs and can not wait to see what the future holds. This is my senior year and I’m going to live it up. If there’s any advice I can give to any loyal readers of my blog its “Don’t live with regrets and you only live once, so live it up.”
Quote of the Week:
“Live life fully while you’re here. Experience everything. Take care of yourself and your friends. Have fun, be crazy, be weird. Go out and screw up! You’re going to anyway, so you might as well enjoy the process. Take the opportunity to learn from your mistakes: find the cause of your problem and eliminate it. Don’t try to be perfect; just be an excellent example of being human.” – Anthony Robbins
