Christopher Toy

CDC and Memorial Day

Once again I would like to state that anything can happen during a period of time here at North Central. This week was another exciting adventure. I went to see Iron Man on Saturday. Thrilling and action packed overall great movie, and I’ll give it 2 thumbs up. I love Marvel Comics and have loved all the Marvel movies that have come out. I’ll give it the Toy recommendation to go and see this one.

Sunday I went to the 1st Annual (Cardinal Dance Company: Showcase). It was an awesome show, and it was great to see my friends dancing on stage and strutting their stuff. When I was in high school a lot of my friends were involved in Orchesis, which is just like a dance recital with more of pop dancing. This recital went very smoothly and I’ll give a shout out to a fellow Blogger Nick Guido on a great job of MC’ing.

Monday I went home for Memorial Day to see my family and friends. I went to the usual park we play ultimate Frisbee at. It was nice to see my friends again and catch up with them. After ultimate I went back to my house and played some bags and Bachi ball. My Dad and mom barbequed some hot dogs and hamburgers and we all feasted. As a loyal reader I will tell you that “Family” is the number one thing in my life. Without them I would not be the person I am today. North Central is a great and wonderful place, but I would have never made it here if it were not for them.
Quote of the Week:

The family. We were a strange little band of characters trudging through life sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another’s desserts, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that bound us all together. ~Erma Bombeck
